KAMELOT: Studio Update
March 3, 2004Florida-based power metallers KAMELOT will shortly enter the studio to begin recording the follow-up to last year's "Epica", tentatively due in September/October through SPV Records. "Casey [Grillo] will probably record the drums at his studio Above the C and the remainder will be done in Wolfsburg [Germany]," guitarist Thomas Youngblood wrote in a recent online posting. "RHAPSODY are nearly done with their mix and then we will steal [producer] Sascha [Paeth] away for our album. Expect some usual surprises and a darker edge on some songs. We are very excited about the new album and video production. We are talking with Revolver [Films] in Sweden about the video shoot and all looks great. They also did the last DIMMU [BORGIR] video which is a killer." Songtitles set to appear on the CD include "March of Mephisto", "Nothing Ever Dies" and "Serenade". A Japanese tour will likely take place in December, to be followed by a European trek beginning in January 2005.
